Resolution for any academic or non-academic student complaint at Marist is best achieved through the processes listed below. Please reach out to those offices or individuals to file complaints and appeals. All inquiries conducted via email must be communicated through your official Marist email account.

Marist degree programs are registered with the New York State Education Department (NYSED). General academic and teacher education programs are approved through the Office of College and University Evaluation, and programs leading to licensure are approved through the Office of the Professions. Marist is a participant in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA). This agreement allows Marist to offer distance-learning programs to students residing in other SARA member states without having to secure individual state approvals.
