Marist degree programs are registered with the New York State Education Department (NYSED). General academic and teacher education programs are approved through the Office of College and University Evaluation, and programs leading to licensure are approved through the Office of the Professions. Information about filing a complaint through NYSED is available at: https://www.nysed.gov/college-university-evaluation/complaints

Marist is a participant in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA). This agreement allows Marist to offer distance-learning programs to students residing in other SARA member states without having to secure individual state approvals.
